The Egyptian Corrosion Society invites engineers,
chemists and scientists from industry, research
centers and
universities to contribute to the 27th Annual Conference on
Corrosion Challenges in Industry.

The main objective of the
conference will be the presentation and discussion of
information generated by investigation and research studies
into the causes and mitigation of corrosion
Conference Topics
The program will include
presentation of plenary lectures by invited guest speakers ,
technical papers and case studies for oral and poster
presentation.

Corrosion in the
petroleum, chemical, food,
metallurgical, power and building industries.

Corrosion protection (inhibitors, cathodic protection,
surface modification, paints, coatings, and applications
of nano-technology).

Corrosion monitoring and inspection.

Corrosion phenomena of metallic and non-metallic
materials.

Water treatment and chemical cleaning .

Materials and welding processes.

Cost of corrosion .

Papers should have a
maximum of 10 pages including figures and tables (typed or
laser printed single spaced 8.5 x 11), on CD.
Proceedings
A book of abstracts and a
CD with complete proceedings will be provided
on arrival.
Registration Fees

Accompanying person…… $
350.
The fees include full
accommodation during the conference, printed materials,
sightseeing and bus transportation from and back to Cairo.
Payments
- Bank transfer: (to Misr
Bank, Dokki branch, Cairo, Account no. 1803/120/135.
(Egyptian Corrosion Society), at least one month before
conference date.
- On arrival, at
registration desk.
Exhibition
Facilities will be
available throughout the conference for commercial displays.
Companies interested in exhibition space are requested to
contact the organizing committee.
Fees
US $ 1000 including the
exhibition and full accommodation for one person .
US $ 300 for every extra person .
